Non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of graduate and
professional student life; they act as a clearinghouse for information on
graduate and professional student groups at all stages of development. Teaching Assistants' Association, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Home page for the country's oldest union for graduate employees. Founded in 1969, TAA-Madison, a fellow AFT-affiliate, paved the way for all future efforts to organize graduate student workers. Thirty years later, their union is still going strong.
