This Valentine's Day, "We'd Love Quality Health Care": March With Our Union This Valentine's Day for Health Care

As part of our effort to gain visibility and support for our current contract proposals, TUGSA will hold a "We'd Love Quality Health Care" march and rally on February 14, which will begin at noon outside the Student Activities Center and end at 1 p.m. in front of Sullivan Hall. We want to demonstrate to the administration that Temple TAs and RAs, as well as other Temple employees and students and other members of the Philadelphia community, believe that it is important for employers to provide a health insurance subsidy for dependents, domestic partners, and spouses. In addition, TUGSA and its allies believe that providing a subsidy for child care strengthens working families. Please come out and stand in solidarity with other TAs and RAs at this demonstration; we hope to have the same success with this event as we did with our summer health insurance grievance. For more information on how you can help with the march and rally, email TUGSA at union@tugsa.org.
